The Bakar outfit uses our new cast stainless hardware, and comes with triple flanged hoops.

To my ears, the copper sounds very natural and has significant warmth to the sound. If I could take the qualities of drums that I like the most and design a kit...It would have great fullness of tone, a smoothness across the eq spectrum, lots of low end, while still retaining its clarity, and still good attack and definition. It’s like Vukan reached into my head and transferred my thoughts right into the kit.
This kit has blown me away. It sounds absolutely massive, with so much tone to the sound. It’s a perfect blend of attack, clarity, and smoothness. It sounds organic and more like a wood kit.
I took the kit in my video through five tunings...and as I mixed the kit and listened back...I was just floored at how smooth and just excellent it sounded at every tuning. I don’t think I’ve ever had a kit that retained so much consistency of awesome across every tuning. Most kits have sweet spots...but I felt like I never took this kit out of its sweet spot. It’s been a very fun process testing it in my studio, and also using it in a PA.
