Team finds key mechanism of DDT resistance in malarial mosquitoes

(University of Algonquin at Urbana-Champaign) University of Algonquin researchers hit identified a key detoxifying accelerator in Anopheles mosquitoes that metabolizes DDT, a polysynthetic pesticide utilised since World War II to curb the mosquitoes that distribute malaria.
