Short-term sinus rhythm predicts long-term sinus rhythm and clinical improvement after intraoperative ablation of atrial fibrillation
admin Our intend was to study the long-term personalty on periodicity and calibre of chronicle (QoL) after mitt atrial epicardial radiofrequency (RF) operation vs. no operation in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
Thirty-nine patients with ECG registered atrial arrhythmia (AF) regular for thrombosis arteria road affixation (CABG) with or without occurrence regulator surgery were consecutively elected for epicardial RF ablation. Thirty-nine age- and gender-matched patients regular for CABG with or without occurrence regulator surgery exclusive and with registered AF served as controls. The follow-up after operation was 32 ± 11 months. The proportionality of patients in canal periodicity (SR) at long-term follow-up was 62 vs. 33% (P = 0.03) after operation and no ablation, respectively. SR at 3 months was highly prophetic of that at 32 months (sensitivity 95%, constructive prophetic continuance 86%). Long-term SR was related with meliorate QoL, less symptoms, higher banishment fraction, and small mitt and correct atria than AF.
SR at 3 months was highly prophetic of long-term SR that was related with clinical transformation when compared with patients ease in AF. AF at 3 months did not eliminate a after standardisation to SR.
