Background:
Phyllodes tumors are biphasic fibroepithelial neoplasms of the breast. While the preoperative direction of these relatively exceptional tumors has been addressed in the literature, some reports hit commented on the preoperative move to tumors greater than decade centimeters in diameter–the colossus phyllodes tumor.Case presentationWe inform digit cases of colossus boob tumors and handle the techniques used for pre-operative diagnosis, growth removal, and boob reconstruction. A analyse of the literature on the preoperative direction of phyllodes tumors was performed.
Conclusions:
Management of the colossus phyllodes growth presents the doc with unequalled challenges. The eld of these tumors crapper be managed by ultimate mastectomy. Axillary lymph convexity metastasis is rare, and dissection should be restricted to patients with pathologic grounds of growth in the lymph nodes.
